Although the collaboration with ECOELASTIKA S.A. began in 2009, to date approximately 2,500 tons of tires have been collected, stored, and forwarded to the authorized management company.
Tire recycling is a highly demanding process, as tires contain many metallic components, and unfortunately, there is no suitable infrastructure on our island to process them locally.
The collected quantities are stored by our company and then shipped to the management authority, which handles their recycling and reintroduces the shredded rubber and metals into the market.
